PROJECT OVERVIEW

IMG LIVE worked with T-Mobile to bring the Un-Carrier Lounge to BlizzCon, Blizzard Entertainment’s yearly celebration of their incredibly popular gaming titles and community.

CLIENT GOAL

Establish an association between T-Mobile and Overwatch, drive awareness for T-Mobile as the Un-Carrier and be the most talked about brand during BlizzCon, both onsite and online.

OUR SOLUTION

IMG LIVE created the “Uncarrier Lounge”, a 30’x40’ space where consumers could experience all things BlizzCon. Whether it was Overwatch World Cup match play or the Starcraft 2 Finals, the T-Mobile branded zones helped attendees take it all in.

ACTIVATION ELEMENTS

•  Viewing area with massive video wall
•  180- degree social photo op 
•  VIP Magenta Seating Section inside Overwatch World Cup Arena.
•  Branded charging stations and premiums.
•  Social balloting for MVP trophy

RESULTS

• 1,794 attendees participated in the MVP Photo Opp, with 1,319 total photos taken
• 298 attendees registered for VIP Magenta Seating
• 1,944 MVP votes via Twitter
• #TMobileMVP was used 2,250 times
