PROJECT OVERVIEW

Alcatel is the presenting sponsor at 10 of The Color Run’s Tropicolor tour stops this year. In partnership with IMG LIVE, the brand utilizes RFID technology to share runners’ experiences throughout the race.
 

CLIENT GOAL

Introduce runners to Alcatel and provide access to phones, tablets and wearables that feature the perfect amount of technology, design and affordability. Provide a broad social reach of their brand with the RFID Snap and Share program.

OUR SOLUTION

IMG LIVE developed a Snap and Share RFID wristband activation that seamlessly shared branded runner photos to social media throughout the race course. We also created an immersive brand experience for the end of the race where runners could create an animated GIF or participate in a custom-built Memory Match Game for the chance to win prizes.

ACTIVATION ELEMENTS

• Inflatable X-Gloo activation tent with custom product integrated displays and gaming.
• Mobile photographers equipped with Alcatel NFC enabled devices

RESULTS

To date, we’ve activated over 16,400 RFID wristbands and captured nearly 13,000 photos, generating over 2.7 Million social impressions.
