IMG LIVE earns two golds at 2016 PRO Awards

The 2016 PRO Awards were held this week, and IMG LIVE’s work was well represented amongst the winners, earning two gold medals on the day.

In the Best Multicultural/Lifestyle Campaign category, IMG LIVE took gold for the #LoveTravels campaign with Marriott International. Coming on the heels of the Supreme Court’s landmark decision on same-sex marriage, the campaign featured two wedding ceremonies that took place on the Marriott float during the D.C. and Chicago Pride parades.

In the category for Best Experiential, More than Five Venues, IMG LIVE took the top spot as well for the “Journey to Super Bowl 50” campaign for Courtyard by Marriott. This activation featured tailgate parties at NFL games around the country over the course of the 2015 NFL season, culminating in a grand-prize winner getting to participate in the “Courtyard Super Suite Sleepover.” For that, IMG LIVE recreated a replica Courtyard suite at Levi Stadium, where the prize winners got to stay the night before Super Bowl 50.

Our efforts paid off in other categories as well, as partner agency Don Jagoda took silver in the Best Loyalty Marketing category for Marriott Rewards 50 to 50 sweepstakes, a campaign IMG LIVE played a large role in helping execute.

In addition, our teammates at FUSION also got plaudits for their work on Budweiser’s Bud and Burgers campaign, which got an Honorable Mention recognition in the Best Vehicle-Based Campaign category.
