01 Mar Super Suite Sleepover
Brands always go big for the Super Bowl, which makes it an exciting time of year in experiential marketing. For Super Bowl 50, the LIVE team had the opportunity to help activate Courtyard’s Suite Stadium Contest. The contest was a series of social media challenges offering a grand prize including the world’s first sleepover party at Levi’s Stadium (the site of Super Bowl 50). Yup, you heard right. Super. Bowl. Stadium. Sleepover.
(Tony Romo gave the world a sneak peek of the Courtyard stadium suite – check out the video and pictures below!)
The contest generated a massive 53.8 million impressions on social media and in the end, the grand prize winner Kristen Williams was selected via crowdvoting (Meet Kristen, her husband Cory and see their winning entry).
Back to why our jobs are awesome: moments like when Kristen, her husband and her parents first arrived at their “hotel room” inside the stadium and our team actually saw their minds melt in disbelief. “Good stuff” doesn’t quite do it justice. What’s crazy is that the sleepover was only part of the grand prize. Kristen and her crew also received tickets to Super Bowl 50, roundtrip airfare, all ground transportation, access to exclusive Courtyard events and several big time surprises along the way. Casual game of corn hole with Tony Gonzalez, anyone?
Despite the fact that Kristen and her family are as gracious as they come, we can’t promise a jealousy-free album viewing experience, so click at your own risk!
